Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Westlake, TX
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in Westlake, TX for a 6+ month onsite contract. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader and Agile evangelist with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams through successful Agile project deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
• Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and values to foster continuous improvement and high performance.
• Remove impediments to the team's progress and shield the team from external distractions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment of project goals and deliverables.
• Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) to support team improvement and transparency.
• Promote a collaborative and safe team environment where open communication and innovation are encouraged.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development or technology environment.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in the financial services or insurance industry.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile management tools.
• SAFe certification (SA, SPC) is a plus.
