Job Title: SQL Backend Developer Healthcare Data Management

We are seeking an experienced SQL Backend Developer with a strong background in healthcare data management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems - specifically eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar platforms - along with advanced skills in Microsoft Azure. This role will focus on building secure, efficient, and scalable backend solutions to support sensitive clinical and medical data operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, develop, and maintain SQL backend solutions to support healthcare applications and reporting.

Manage, optimize, and query large-scale healthcare datasets for accuracy and performance.

Integrate and manage data workflows with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or other EHR systems.

Leverage advanced Microsoft Azure capabilities for cloud-based data storage, security, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with clinical operations and analytics teams to ensure data availability and integrity.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend processes for speed, scalability, and compliance.

Maintain documentation of data models, processes, and integrations.

Proven experience as a SQL Backend Developer, ideally in healthcare or clinical data environments.

Strong expertise in SQL database design, development, and optimization.

Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or other EHR/EMR systems.

Advanced Microsoft Azure skills (not entry-level), including cloud data management, security, and integration.

Knowledge of healthcare data standards, compliance (HIPAA), and security best practices.

Experience working with other clinical systems or medical billing platforms.

Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL, and reporting tools.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
