Position Title: Auth0 SME
Location: Bay Area, Client Onsite
Experience Level: 10+ Years Total / 4+ Years Hands-On Auth0
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Auth0 SME to support a major engagement with a leading Integrator. This role requires deep technical hands-on expertise with Auth0, strong customer-facing communication, and the ability to guide and coordinate an offshore implementation team. The ideal candidate has led identity solutions in complex enterprise environments and can operate confidently with both B2B and B2C integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture of Auth0-based identity solutions for B2B and B2C use cases.
Implement and configure Auth0 components, including authentication flows, authorization, rules, hooks, and tenant configuration.
Drive UI customization for login pages, hosted pages, and broader identity-related user experiences.
Oversee and participate in automation testing for identity and access management workflows.
Engage directly with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, present architecture decisions, provide status updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Manage and mentor an offshore delivery team, ensuring quality implementation and adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, engineering, and product groups.
Provide best practices, governance recommendations, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of overall IT experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Auth0 architecture, configuration, and implementation.
Strong background with B2B and B2C integrations, including enterprise identity federation (SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
Experience with UI customization in Auth0 (Universal Login, custom pages, branding). (a Plus)
Proficiency in automation testing for identity systems. (a Plus)
Proven customer-facing communication skills and ability to work directly with executive and technical stakeholders.
Experience leading and coordinating offshore teams.
Solid understanding of IAM principles, security best practices, and identity lifecycle management.
Ability to work in the Bay Area onsite as needed (preferred), or remotely within PST hours.
