Sr. Workday Analyst

Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Sr. Analyst to configure, maintain, and enhance our Workday environment. This role will ensure optimal system performance, support all People & Culture (HR) functions, and drive automation and efficiency through Workday s suite of tools. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Workday modules (specifically Compensation and Advanced Compensation, Core HR, and Security), a strong technical background, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while supporting business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

System Configuration & Maintenance:

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules, including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Security).
  • Optimize system settings and configurations to enhance performance, functionality, and user experience.

System Upgrades & Enhancements:

  • Plan, test, and implement system updates, new functionalities, and feature releases.
  • Collaborate with functional team, IT, and Workday support to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

Workflow Automation & Process Improvement:

  • Design and implement automated workflows and business processes within Workday to improve efficiency.
  • Partner with functional & business teams to streamline operations and enhance system capabilities.

Security Administration & Compliance:

  • Manage security roles, user access, and permissions to ensure data privacy and compliance.
  • Monitor system activities for security risks and enforce regulatory and internal policy compliance.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

  • Serve as the second-level support for complex Workday issues, identifying root causes and providing timely solutions.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and data integrity, addressing potential issues before they escalate.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Perform regular data audits, validation, and cleansing to maintain high data quality.
  • Develop and manage custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer and other tools to support data-driven decision-making.

Integration Management:

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems using Workday integration tools (EIB, Studio, etc.).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows to ensure seamless data flow.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday configuration, security administration, and reporting.
  • Experience with Workday integration tools (EIB, Studio) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Workday certification in HCM, Compensation or relevant modules is preferred.
  • Ability to work in-office full time.
