The Business Intelligence Engineer supports the development and implementation of data analyses and models to support the company and our clients in making data supported decisions. Possesses a track record of delivering scalable data solutions and impactful insights to drive growth and change within small and large organizations. This individual has the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel with strong organizational skills and capability to multi-task. Continuously collaborates with team members to understand their needs and identify strategic bets that can create step-change improvements for them. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for working with the leadership team members to identify data, analytical models, and dashboards to drive and support profitability and scale of the company's platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and thrives in a startup environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provides complex analysis, designs and implements business intelligence and reporting solutions. * Develop state of the art analytic tools using Power BI * Implement disruptive technologies focused on transforming the way in which we operate and leverage data. * Builds and maintains the reporting data model and helps the Engineering team with creating views, SQL scripts * Works with leaders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Operations and Finance to develop intelligent solutions and reports. * Uses Business Intelligence and visualization software to empower non-technical, internal customers to drive their own analytics and reporting. * Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to understand and apply changes/modifications impacting data warehouse. * Monitor ETL processes, system audits, Dashboard Reporting and Presentation Layer functions and performance and proactively fix issues as found. * Assists with planning around data management and data analysis activities and recommends new or different technologies that will enhance current systems and support corporate and business goals. * Serves as a proficient technical resource; routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. * Provides consultation and hands-on assistance for reporting and analytic initiatives and incidents. * Provides advice and recommendations around customer requirements and the implementation of those requirements.
