Strong experience with advanced analytics/SQL on Snowflake environment.

PROJECT INFO - They will work on multiple projects but namely - MDM reporting, Premium Payback reporting, and Data Catalog reporting

Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate will have recent experience with Spark, Scala and/or Python programming languages, as well as heavy cloud experience in AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
  • Knowledge of endto-end systems development life cycles, e.g., iterative and other modern approaches to software development
  • Proficiency with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL, HiveQL)
  • Develops strong understanding of the data sets and identifies ways to enhance its value by combining it with other data sets.
  • Identifies meaningful insights from large data, interprets, and communicates insights from analysis and experiments
  • Creates workflows to preprocess data, build machine learning models, and evaluate the effectiveness of those models on large data sets.
  • Leverages previous experience/knowledge and current data to provide insightful analytics.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Uses MS Excel/PowerPoint to summarize findings and communicate effectively to the product team.
  • May provide consultation to users and lead crossfunctional teams to address business issues.
  • Interprets and communicates insights to product, service and business management.
  • Works with business leaders to identify and develop metrics and visualizations that will track performance and highlight potential inefficiencies.
  • Partners with business teams to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modeling decisions.
  • Compiles data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set, including design and implementation of data cubes.
  • Required strong analytical acumen with the ability to uncover insights and create stories by seamlessly integrating a variety of data sources
  • Demonstrated advance proficiency development methodologies in the Cloud Data environment including but not limited to AWS, Snowflake, Azure and analytical tools including but not limited to Tableau, WebFocus, Thoughtspot, Power BI etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills that enable you to use data to tell a story and bring key insights to life for nontechnical audiences.
  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decisionmakers.
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
  • Interacts with product and service teams to understand the business objectives and translate those into data problems, experiments and eventually solutions.
  • Designs, and programs methods, processes, to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse \"big data\" sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
  • Develops thorough business friendly documentation.
  • Works in crossfunctional teams and work independently.
  • Experience working with transaction data (e.g. credit and debit card transactions)
  • Experience working with marketing data
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or Business; prior work experience in Business Analytics preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range: $60 - $80/HOUR on W2
