RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Englewood, CO that is seeking a Staff AWS Connect Developer with a strong background in AWS Connect services and architecture. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining complex AWS Connect solutions to enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in AWS Connect, Lambda development, AWS API Gateway, and API integrations will be instrumental in creating scalable, customizable, and integrated contact center solutions for modern business needs.
Responsibilities:
* AWS Connect Development: Design and implement contact flows, IVR menus, routing logic, and system integrations. Configure instances, queues, phone numbers, and custom contact attributes to improve customer and agent experiences
* Lambda Function Development: Write serverless functions in C# or JavaScript for tasks like dynamic call routing, backend processing, and third-party API integration within contact flows
* AWS Service Integration: Connect AWS Connect with services such as DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and Lambda to enable data storage, file handling, chatbot functionality, and custom logic execution
* API Gateway Management: Create and manage RESTful APIs using API Gateway, including secure access via authentication, authorization, and throttling policies
* Monitoring & Optimization: Use CloudWatch and other tools to track performance metrics and optimize flows, routing strategies, and system scalability
* Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation and adhere to AWS best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements; Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) is a plus
* 6 years of experience in AWS Connect development and implementation
* Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, and CloudWatch
* Strong understanding of contact center operations, including IVR systems, call routing, and telephony integrations
* Experience with programming languages such as React, Python, JavaScript, or Java
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems to identify and resolve issues
* Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is desirable
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
