Notes:
Doing migration of clients from on-prem to Azure cloud. Each migration is managed individually. There are 60 clients left to go.
3-5 clients migrated each month and these happen over the weekend. Need to make sure everything is ready, so that there are no delays. Won't expect for them to be working on the weekends, but should have everything ready for it.
They don't talk with the clients, they deal with the internal activities that need to be completed. There are client facing PMs as well.
Should have some technical background: basic IT / Tech knowledge: Networking, Database, Applications, etc.
They us PXC, a scheduling tool that they will train these folks on.
Work with Networking, app teams, etc.
These folks need to keep track of all the milestones
Manage the pre-migration milestones and issues and blockers
Track Dates and Evidences: Upload the evidence
Will create the Migration Day playbook activities: The playbook is the same for each client, but they will include client-specific details so the team running the migration over the weekend can execute.
Work for each migration starts about 2 weeks prior to the migrations. They will have follow up work to do, tracking milestones from
T-0 : Day of Migration
T-70: 70 days after migration
This is a Technical Project Manager role
Know Excel very well.
Create PPTs that can be used during standups

Seeking a skilled candidate to lead a wide array of activities associated with planning and migration wave management for a client cloud migration Initiative. This role involves liaising between various teams and activity assigned resources supporting migration to resolve the issues leading to the migration.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and update pre-migration related activity/milestone follow-ups, closures, RAID logs (Risk, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies) , facilitate change management review of client requests to change migration dates, capture completion evidence in the firm's scheduling and migration tool
- Discuss and follow up on late activities with technical operations manager per client migration
- Develop migration playbook, including coordinating pre-migration meeting with each technical operations manager (TOM) & PMO per migration wave
- Hosts stakeholder office hours to discuss migration-related topics
- Migration activity-related issues and risks are reported in daily standups and a "path to green" is monitored and executed
Ensures compliance with SDLC and program standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with dynamic priorities and work flexible hours
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven experience in project management, cloud migrations, and working with cross-functional technical teams
Background in software development, IT infrastructure, or data analytics
