**This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award**
Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Configuration and Data Manager to oversee configuration management processes and ensure the accurate control of project and system data throughout the lifecycle. This role involves maintaining baselines, managing change control processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management tools, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in managing complex systems and documentation.
Required Skills:
Deep understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and standards such as ISO 10007 or MIL-STD-973.
Expertise in maintaining baselines, version control, and change management processes.
Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Jira, IBM Rational ClearCase, Windchill, or equivalent systems.
Strong analytical skills for identifying, resolving, and preventing data inconsistencies.
Ability to lead audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure configuration and data compliance.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge of document control and data management practices.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile and DevOps practices as they relate to configuration management.
Familiarity with database management systems and the ability to query and manipulate data.
Understanding of system engineering processes and lifecycle integration.
Ability to create automated scripts or workflows to improve configuration management efficiency.
Experience with federal or defense industry configuration management standards.
Education Requiremen:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in configuration and data management roles, including leadership responsibilities.
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly
