Role: Identity Access Manager Solutions (Consultant)

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Identity Access Manager (IAM) Solutions Consultant to support a major initiative implementing a Customer IAM solution leveraging Entra ID. This consultant will play a key role in the design, migration, and integration of identity solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless access for users and customers.

This is a hands-on consulting role requiring deep IAM expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid AD and Entra ID environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to implement and optimize a Customer IAM solution utilizing Microsoft Entra ID
  • Support integration of hybrid on-prem Active Directory and Entra ID environments
  • Drive migration activities from on-prem AD to Entra ID, ensuring minimal disruption
  • Design and implement B2B customer federation into Entra ID
  • Partner with internal teams to gather requirements and translate into IAM solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on IAM best practices, security controls, and compliance requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
  • Document IAM architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Identity and Access Management
  • Strong technical background in Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and hybrid IAM models
  • Hands-on experience migrating from on-prem AD to Entra ID
  • Experience implementing B2B federation and customer IAM solutions
  • Solid understanding of identity governance, authentication, and access control protocols
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior consulting or solutions architecture experience in IAM projects
  • Familiarity with related tools and technologies (SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, OAuth, SAML, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
