Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to provide essential technical support for a non-profit organization in Reston, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who excels in troubleshooting and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role involves addressing hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and escalating complex inquiries as needed.
Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve day-to-day technical support tickets, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and assist with basic software problems.
Diagnose and resolve Wi-Fi connectivity issues to maintain seamless network access.
Perform password resets and manage light Active Directory tasks.
Triage tickets and escalate more complex technical problems to higher support levels.
Provide clear and precise communication to users regarding issue resolutions.
Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities and resolutions.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
Proficiency in Active Directory, including basic administrative tasks.
Experience handling support tickets and providing technical assistance.
Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage and escalate issues appropriately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective user support.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
