Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities

Solution Leadership & Architecture

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of SAP Ariba Sourcing solutions.
• Define integration patterns between Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other enterprise systems (Finance, Procurement, Analytics).
• Own the roadmap for extending Sourcing into Spend Control Tower and Supplier Lifecycle Management capabilities.
• Establish technical standards, design guidelines, and best practices for Ariba implementations.
• Evaluate new Ariba functionalities, releases, and their applicability to business needs.

Delivery & Execution

• Collaborate with implementation partners and internal teams during blueprinting, configuration, and rollout.
• Ensure solution designs meet functional, technical, and compliance requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable, and secure Ariba architectures.
• Support project planning, risk assessment, and issue resolution.
• Define performance and data quality KPIs for sourcing and supplier processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with global and regional procurement teams to identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Advise leadership on best practices, adoption strategies, and Ariba roadmap alignment with enterprise goals.
• Act as the thought leader and evangelist for digital procurement transformation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 15 years of total experience, including at least 6 8 years in SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, and preferably Supplier Management modules).
• Strong understanding of SAP Ariba architecture, data model, and integration framework (CIG, APIs, SAP PI/PO, or CPI).
• Experience designing solutions for Spend Control Tower or Supplier Lifecycle & Performance Management (SLP) is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration (MM, FI, and Procurement).
• Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Contract (S2C) business processes.
• Strong experience in solution blueprinting, design documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Exposure to analytics, data governance, or reporting integration within procurement solutions preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work across global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Ariba certification (Sourcing or Integration).
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and Ariba APIs for custom extensions.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based supplier risk and spend analytics is advantageous.
• Background in consulting or large-scale transformation programs.
