Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Audit Supervisor to lead audit and review engagements across a diverse client portfolio. This role involves managing fieldwork with minimal supervision, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality service that strengthens client relationships. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Audit Supervisor to lead audit and review engagements across a diverse client portfolio. This role involves managing fieldwork with minimal supervision, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality service that strengthens client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple audit and review engagements from planning through completion across various industries
- Manage day-to-day engagement activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, schedules, and management letters
- Conduct research and provide technical support for complex accounting issues
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact
- Identify and resolve issues through thoughtful analysis and consultation
- Advise clients on business and process improvements, acting as a trusted advisor
- Support the development and delivery of internal training programs
- Oversee staff scheduling and workload distribution
- Provide timely feedback and coaching to promote technical and professional growth
- Participate in recruitment and talent development initiatives
- Ability to lead and inspire team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in mentoring, evaluating, and developing staff
