Position: Oracle Cloud Finance Solution Lead
Location: Remote but On -demand travel if required ( Virginia Beach, VA)
Duration: Long term contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Solution Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud ERP financial solutions. This role will act as a strategic advisor and hands-on leader in delivering financial transformation projects using Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and rollout of Oracle Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, SLA, etc.).
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Define solution architecture and drive best practices across project phases including requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment.
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, lead configuration, and participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT).
- Lead functional teams and coordinate with technical teams to ensure solution integrity.
- Develop and deliver functional specifications for integrations, reports, and extensions.
- Provide post-go-live support and lead continuous improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and support audit requirements.
- Support change management and training initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP.
- 3+ full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Intercompany, SLA.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, business processes, and reporting.
- Ability to lead client workshops and produce high-quality documentation.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Certification in Financials.
- Experience in adjacent modules (Procurement, Projects, etc.).
- Industry experience in [e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, Public Sector, etc.].
- Knowledge of tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, and OTBI.
