Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Dallas, Texas
Work Mode: Onsite (5 days a week, 8 AM 5 PM CST)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Long Term (FTE only)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Consultant with 5 8 years of experience to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working independently on assigned tasks, and experienced in managing SAP Basis operations in a 24x7 environment. This is a long-term onsite position with opportunities to work on advanced SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform SAP Basis administration, system provisioning, and support activities.

  • Manage SAP system refreshes on HANA DB and provide SAP S/4HANA support.

  • Handle SAP Add-on upgrades, support package upgrades, and system logistics.

  • Resolve issues related to BODS, Data Services, and SLT.

  • Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager (SLD, LMDB, EWA, managed systems, and technical monitoring).

  • Administer public and private cloud environments, including HA/DR setup and backup/restore processes.

  • Monitor system performance, conduct client copies, and ensure smooth ABAP system setup.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in 24x7 operations as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 8 years of proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.

  • Strong expertise in Linux environments and SAP software logistics.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP system monitoring and performance optimization.

  • Solid understanding of public cloud architecture (certifications a plus).

  • Knowledge of cloud connectors and DevOps automation tools.

  • Experience with scripting (Shell, Perl) is an added advantage.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with a positive, self-starter attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is desirable.

  • Knowledge of DevOps automation tools.

  • Prior experience in high-availability/disaster recovery solutions for SAP.
