JOB SUMMARY
Primary Purpose of Position
The Sr. UX Engineer will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing the user experience for digital products and services. This role requires expertise in interface design, research methods, accessibility guidelines, and modern programming techniques to design and evaluate user-centric experiences. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring usability, accessibility, and consistency across multiple platforms while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
The position requires a blend of technical knowledge, design expertise, and the ability to translate user needs into intuitive and accessible solutions. Candidates should be comfortable operating in dynamic environments, offering creative solutions, and applying user-centered design principles to complex problems.

Essential Functions
Take ownership of user experience initiatives across multiple platforms.
Work independently and apply best practices in user-centered design.
Advocate for user research and human-centered design principles with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.
Provide direction on design projects and mentor junior UX engineers.
Develop templates, patterns, and design standards to support UX operations.
Identify and correct usability issues in designs, products, and services.
Present research findings and design solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Continuously identify gaps in documentation, processes, and workflows, recommending areas for improvement.
Suggest ways technology can improve business processes and user experiences.
Incorporate business objectives into design strategies to align with organizational goals.
Recommend multi-channel solutions for digital experiences.
Analyze interdependencies and ensure alignment across teams and platforms.
Apply data science concepts to optimize user experience in operational systems.
Gather data from user research, analytics, and external sources to inform design decisions.
Identify decision points where data-driven insights can guide improvements.
Job Qualifications
Requirements:
Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development or product lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency.
A portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating user-centric digital experiences across multiple channels.
5+ years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, information architecture, content strategy, or related fields.
3+ years of experience incorporating user research methods (e.g., NPS, focus groups, usability testing) into the design process.
3+ years collaborating with cross-functional teams including software development, product, operations, sales, and marketing.
1–2 years using metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) to drive continuous improvement.
1–2 years of experience in a senior-level UX or design role.
1+ years working with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, or Adobe Creative Suite.
1+ years designing for accessibility and inclusivity across diverse demographics and abilities.
1+ years of experience in Agile software development environments.
Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree in human-centered design, interaction design, or a related field.
Experience with HTML/CSS for design implementation and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for inclusive design.
