Lead UX Designer

Santa Clara, CA and Raritan, NJ (3 days/week onsite)

12 months

 

2 positions, 1 for each location.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of user-centered experience strategies across digital channels (web and mobile).
  • Create and maintain journey maps, service blueprints, and other artifacts to visualize user needs and pain points.
  • Drive end-to-end design thinking processes to ensure cohesive and impactful user experiences.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to align on goals, uncover insights, and co-create solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, IT, and compliance teams to define and prioritize design initiatives.
  • Clearly articulate design rationale and present work to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions.
  • Design and conduct user research studies, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys, ensuring methods are appropriate for compliant/regulatory environments.
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with analytics and CRM teams to leverage data in shaping experience decisions.
  • Leverage expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to inform experience strategies and ensure seamless integrations.
  • Apply UX best practices for mobile platforms, ensuring responsive and accessible design across devices.

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Experience Design, UX Strategy, or Service Design.
  • Proven track record of leading journey mapping, research, and workshop facilitation efforts.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, and how they influence digital experiences.
  • Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Experience conducting user research within regulated or compliant industries (e.g., pharma, healthcare, finance) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Portfolio showcasing journey mapping, research synthesis, and experience strategy artifacts.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments and working closely with development teams.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience working with global teams and multi-market digital platforms.
