Job Description: Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up machinery project's and installations

  • Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems
  • Update program backups for machinery
  • Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems
  • Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements

Skills and Experience Required: 2+ years of related controls and debug experience. Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls - Siemens and/or Indramat PL7.

  • Electrical Background (electrician or technician)
  • Related experience - Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives o Familiarity with VFD s, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls

Preferred: Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery o ABB robot experience o Microsoft office including excel, powerpoint, word, etc. o Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics o Ability to read blueprints

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering
