Workday System Business Analyst | 6-9 years of experience | Remote | Contract

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Workday System Business Analyst with 6-9 years of experience to support a healthcare client. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

START DATE: 7/21/2025

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 6-9 years of experience working with Workday, with a focus on reporting, data archiving, and purging
  • Strong proficiency in Workday reporting tools, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports
  • In-depth understanding of Workday data structures, security, and data management processes
  • Experience with Workday data archiving and purging best practices and tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Workday certification(s) in Reporting and Data Management


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Workday Reporting:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and convert them into effective Workday reports.
  • Optimize and enhance existing reports to improve performance and meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all generated reports.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Workday reporting functionalities.

2. Workday Archive and Purge:
  • Develop and implement strategies for data archiving and purging in the Workday system.
  • Establish and maintain data retention policies in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Perform regular audits of archived and purged data to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to develop and execute data archival and purge plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data archiving and purging.
