Job Description:

Role: Portfolio Specialist
Type: 6+ month Contract
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid) - Preferred.
  • Will also consider remote with occasional travel candidates if not local.
Pay: up to 45/hr (negotiable)
Responsible for managing one of more functional areas of Portfolio Operations within a product led organization that include the following but not limited to capital allocation, capital budget governance, operating budget governance, capacity management, vendor performance governance and contracts management.

Under general supervision of a Portfolio Ops Manager and in conjunction with the Principal Portfolio Ops Manager, lead and direct activities related to one or more Portfolio Operations function while also building expertise in other functions.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of overall experience in portfolio program management
  • 2+ years working within an IT environment.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile
  • Strong Accounting & excel skills (able to run pivot points and able to analyze large quantity of data)
  • Should be able to participate in audits and other functionally related activities
  • Should develop a mindset of driving data driven decisions and support other stakeholders in the same as well
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels with the organization
