You love analyzing data and solving puzzles? Do you enjoy working with advanced ETL tools to transform outdated legacy data into modern databases? You will work to bring new life to legacy customer information systems. We need your expert advice to lead data conversion projects performing analysis that includes the following: preparing data mapping/load order documents, recommending data cleansing strategies, and developing conversion workflows using industry leading data manipulation tools.

 

Position responsibilities include:

  • Scope data conversion requirements, execute data transformation activities, and support end user validation activities from existing legacy system to new customer information system.
  • Participate in Discovery meetings with client and third-party vendors to structure project plans, communications, processes and client training.
  • Serving as Consultant/Technical SME, engaging with the Client team to ensure requirements are understood and that data is being migrated to meet the business needs.
  • Manage technical data conversion issues and communicate effectively with team and customer to convey project findings, updates, options, risks, and impacts related to data conversion.
  • Writing import routines based on the data mappings, product ad-hoc inquiries, and reports to both analyze the data imported to the new system and identify opportunities for data cleansing.
  • Be required to meet and manage multiple project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Participate in knowledge base maintenance efforts, which may include various analysis and design specification documents and ensure documents are technically accurate, timely, and client orientated.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration or related IT applicable experience such as technical support.
  • Advanced English Level (90% or C1 equivalent).
  • Flexible to work in shifts as per business needs.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft workstation operating systems and computer functions.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server administration, including such functions as adding roles and features, NTFS permissions and administrative tools.
  • Database experience (Microsoft SQL) queries and tools.
  • Basic understanding of PowerShell cmdlets and functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in major data migration projects
  • Exposure to financial Services or Banking industry standard data
  • Documented data conversion experience from a variety of data sources
  • Experience with ETL tools, data gathering workbooks, and data loading tools, etc.
  • Scripting (VB, C++ or PowerShell) is a mayor plus.
  • Experience with data manipulation tools such as Alteryx
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Solutions
  • Understands essential concepts about cloud computing and SaaS.
