Lead Python Developer

Client: Our client is an innovative Fintech company with a huge amount of runway and growth plans. They are in the scale up space but are very well-funded with around 100 members of staff and over $40 million in funding. They are paying very competitive salaries, able to go up to $250k TC. They are looking for a Lead Python Developer to join this expansion.

The technical team is made up of around 30 members of staff. Of this, 10 of the team are python developers with differing levels of experience. You would be working in an 8-per core product team and shipping software of the highest quality. You would be leading and mentoring the more junior members of the team.

Our client is working on a modern Python 3 stack. They utilize Django and FastAPI as frameworks and Javascript React on the Frontend. The company allow their development teams real autonomy over their work on the Greenfield projects.

Ideal candidates possess the following skills:
- 8 years of Python Development Experience (FastAPI/Django/Flask frameworks)
- 3 years of Leadership experience (Team Lead or decision-making)
- 5 years working on AWS Cloud Environment
- 5 years working with SQL databases
