Required Skills:

Understand data structures and schemas, and implementing appropriate indexes (3 Years)
Able to create logical and physical models of data to represent relationships and ensure data integrity (5 Years)
Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) (3 Years)
Understanding of the process of extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a database (5 Years)
Use of at least one data cleansing tool (2 Years)
Able to create and execute test cases (5 Years)
Must meet deadlines and manage multiple streams of work (5 Years)

Preferred Skills:

Able to identify and resolve issues within the data cleansing process (3 Years)
Able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences (3 Years)
Able to dissect complex problems and derive insights from large datasets (3 Years)
Under the direction of a data architect, this position will conduct data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the client data.
Able to work in a team environment as well as without assistance, can provide input and feedback to others, able to manage highly complex work efforts, may have advanced education, may have extensive industry experience.

Job Duties:

Data analysis and database management
Designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning
Creation of requirements for database, database schema, data maps, ERDs, application objects (i.e., tables, indexes, views, etc.)
Creation of data rules to identify areas for data cleansing
Conducting data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the client data
