About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Data Management Analysts to join the Commercial Banking and Lending (CBL) Data Defect Management Team. This team plays a critical role in ensuring data quality and compliance across the organization. You will lead efforts to identify, analyze, and remediate data defects, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance policies.

About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Data Management Analysts to join the Commercial Banking and Lending (CBL) Data Defect Management Team. This team plays a critical role in ensuring data quality and compliance across the organization. You will lead efforts to identify, analyze, and remediate data defects, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and solutioning sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to investigate data quality issues.
- Act as a risk manager for the CBL Data Domain, ensuring proper controls are documented and risks are mitigated.
- Maintain full compliance with Data Management Policies and Procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of defects.
- Conduct root cause and impact analyses for complex data defects; validate remediation and document the full lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams and business units to assess risks and improve control frameworks.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, summarizing findings and proposed solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data governance, risk management, or data defect management.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI for data extraction and wrangling.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis of data quality issues.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BSA/AML, FR 2052a, FFIEC.
- Excellent communication skills, including documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience in Commercial Banking and Lending Data Domain.
- Knowledge of banking and finance industry risk reporting, analytics, and controls.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) practices.
- Experience with regulatory reporting, audit processes, and control validation.
- Proficiency with Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) for issue tracking and reporting.
