Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This position will involve supporting a manufacturing environment, ensuring the seamless operation of workstations, software, and hardware systems. If you have a strong background in desktop support and thrive in hands-on roles, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and workstation systems within the manufacturing facility.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Maintain and manage Active Directory user accounts and permissions.
Perform desktop imaging and configuration to ensure consistent system setups.
Utilize ticketing systems to document, track, and resolve technical incidents.
Collaborate with team members to deliver timely resolutions to IT-related challenges.
Implement updates and patches to ensure systems remain secure and operational.
Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware across the facility.
Diagnose and repair desktop hardware issues to minimize downtime.
Deliver excellent customer service while addressing end-user concerns and queries.
Part time work is available for a flexible schedule, between 20-40 hours per week.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Knowledge of Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with desktop imaging processes and tools.
Strong understanding of PC desktop hardware and workstation systems.
Hands-on experience with ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and end users.
