RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst (Playwright) in Greenwood Village, CO.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through a balanced approach of manual testing and automated test development using Playwright. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, loves uncovering bugs, and is experienced with both hands-on functional testing and modern automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual Testing (50%):
* Review and understand requirements, design test cases, and execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory tests
* Log detailed defects in a timely manner and track them through resolution
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to ensure test coverage across the application
* Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos) and contribute to test planning efforts
Automation Testing (50%):
* Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python)
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks
* Develop test data and test environment configurations to support automated testing
* Analyze test results, identify flaky tests, and troubleshoot failures efficiently
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
* 1+ year of hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred)
* Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports
* Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
* Strong understanding of web application architecture and RESTful APIs
* Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
* Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
* Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
* Background in performance or security testing is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
