Job Details

We're a fast-moving startup in the intelligence space, integrating multiple data sources to deliver real-time insights for businesses-including hotels and other enterprise clients. You'll join a lean, high-caliber team where your decisions will directly influence how we scale, architect, and evolve our platform.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You'll work across architecture, implementation, and system design to build the infrastructure behind real-time intelligence, agentic bots, and automated data pipelines. If you want to work at the intersection of AI, data engineering, and security technology-on something with real impact-this is it.
  • Own architecture decisions for our Python-based backend and data infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, high-performance systems.
  • Build and maintain scrapers, bots, and automation workflows that feed real-time intelligence.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to deploy new models and agentic automation tools.
  • Support enterprise integrations and ensure data compliance and governance standards are met.
  • 9+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or similar technical roles.
  • Strong expertise with Python for ETL, API integrations, and automation.
  • Proven experience designing and managing large-scale data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of modern data stack tools and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, orchestration tools, and RESTful data services.
  • A startup-ready mindset: resourceful, self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, leadership-oriented approach.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance (U.S. work authorization required).
  • Must be based in the greater Phoenix area.
