IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a Sr Full Stack .NET Developer to join an existing team that is developing new web-based applications for use throughout the agency.

Project duties will include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, deployment activities, and production support. Expectations for this position are development of quality code, active participation in code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, creation of technical documentation and timely completion of assigned tasks. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset are critical to success in this role.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet the needs of multiple stakeholder groups and challenges posed by competing priorities, as part of a team, are also important for this role

NOTE: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Position is mostly remote (within the State of WI) but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice.

Skills Required:

10 years of experience in the following:

• Full stack development experience
• Application development expertise using Microsoft .NET tools and including .NET CORE, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, JQuery, C#
• Experience with the full SDLC and key deliverables, familiarity with project management principles

8 years of experience in the following:

• Experience with authentication and authorization techniques, including OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis
• Experience developing unit test, system test, and user acceptance test scenarios and plans; performing unit and smoke tests

5 years of experience in the following:

• Experience integrating 3rd party connections and/or tools
• Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation
• Experience with REST APIs and web services
• Experience with managing SQL Server Stored Procedures, writing SQL queries, using SQL Server and SQL client tools
• Knowledge of techniques for proactively preventing and reactively responding to security threats
• Experience with IIS

Skills Desired A plus to have:

• Prior experience with the development of Security applications
• 5 years - Experience with GitHub Enterprise and Jira
