Description
Robert Half is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 expert to support an Auto & Financial Lending company based in Seattle, WA. This Microsoft 365 expert will assess, optimize, and strengthen the Microsoft 365 environment. You will work closely with the IT team to evaluate current usage, identify gaps, and enhance security across the suite. This position is 100% remote that is a 3-6 month contract position.
Duration: 3-6 month contract
Schedule: Core Hours - 40 Hours a week.
Location: 100% Remote

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current M365 suite usage and configuration.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.
- Provide high-level recommendations to enhance productivity and security.
- Focus on email security, endpoint protection, and overall M365 security posture.
- Strengthen Defender and Intune configurations to align with best practices.
- Produce clear, high-level documentation of processes for handoff and future reference.
- Offer a strategic, "big picture" perspective to guide decisions on M365 optimization.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, including Intune and Defender.
- Strong understanding of email security best practices.
- Ability to assess current state and make actionable recommendations.
- Hands-on experience in M365 administration.
Soft Skills / Traits:
- Highly self-driven and able to take tasks from assignment to execution independently.
- Curious and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal micromanagement.
- Strong communication skills to document findings and present recommendations effectively.
