Job Details
The Machine Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery, auxiliary equipment, and related systems in our high-volume recycling facility. This role ensures equipment reliability, reduces downtime, and supports safe, efficient operations across all production lines.
Required:
- Minimum 3 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Preferred:
- Experience with plastics recycling machinery (shredders, granulators, extrusion lines).
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
