Network Security Analyst / Next Gen Firewalls

This nonprofit organization centered around assisted living is looking for a Security Analyst to join their small but mighty security team. This role mainly involves data loss prevention, firewall security, vulnerability management, and other defensive blue team responsibilities. If you are looking to use your security skills for a good cause on a good team, this may be the role for you.

Ideal candidates will have a network/system admin background with a few years of professional security experience. This is a full-time hybrid role that is hybrid in Newark DE, so only local candidates will be considered. Required Skills & Experience

• Fundamental understanding of Next Gen firewalls
• Skills in network security
• Ability to protect devices from malware, malicious activity
• 2-3 years of professional experience in cyber security
  • Blue team/defensive duties such as vulnerability management, incident response, DLP, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Any relevant security certifications
• Any security engineering experience
