Sr. Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a senior talented individual with 6+ years of experience who can design and implement enterprise level components for storage and retrieval of multimedia data. This individual must have strong knowledge of C# and C++ language skills. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of Multimedia on Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technologies or greater; or equivalent experience in computer/technology related fields
• Experience using C# and/or C++
• Experience designing and implementing performant, highly available, mission critical services
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong computer skills including solid working knowledge of Windows/Linux based applications
• Ability to work under pressure and within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as function successfully within a team
• Assertive to drive issues as appropriate, through to resolution, while maintaining professionalism in all communications
• Solid multi-tasking and detail orientation skills
• Mature judgment and the ability to relate well with others

• Windows/Linux Administration Experience
• Cloud based (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.) product development experience
• Establishing and implementing Security Compliance (FEDRAMP, NIST, CMMC) practices
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Jenkins, Code Build, Code Deploy
• Experience working with infrastructure as code platforms such as Cloud Formation, Ansible, Terraform
• Experience working with Docker, Amazon ECS or Microsoft ACR, Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile practices (Scrum / Kanban)
• Experience working with high availability systems
• Database Design, Development, and ETL (PostgreSQL and / or MSSQL) with an emphasis on performance tuning
• Web Client experience, with emphasis on multimedia content delivery (e.g. HTML5, CSS, Typescript, etc.)
• Network Layer protocols/API’s and toolsets for monitoring, dissecting, investigating network packets
• Experience with application and database profiling
• Experience working with Multimedia technologies including SIP, H323, H263, H.264, H.265, MJPEG, VP8 (in a WEBM), and/or other multimedia formats.
