Role : Lead Network Engineer Level - 4
Location: Easton, OH
Duration: 3 to 6 months C2H
MOI : Telephonic & MS Teams
Primary Skills: API s, Python scripts, Ansible
Need Candidates with a Minimum of 12 Years of Experience, and this is an Onsite/Hybrid model, Needs Locals or nearby only.

Must have:
- An advanced, in-depth understanding of Ansible network automation is a must.
- 5+ years of experience supporting end-to-end network technologies such as routers, switches, VPN appliances, firewalls, load Balancers, DNS appliances, and wireless devices.
- Knowledge of network programmability using API s, Python scripts, and/or Ansible.
- Experience with network security technologies like Palo Alto firewalls and NAC (Cisco ISE)
- Software Defined Networking experience (SD-WAN, DNAC, NDO, ACI)
- Experience with UNIX/Linux.
- In-depth experience with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design,
- Advanced understanding of performance and monitoring via SNMP, API, and SIEM (Splunk)
- Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology
- Advanced understanding of best practices and HNB policies
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
Nice to have:
- Experience working in an Agile/Kanban team aligned to ITIL practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure (nice to have)
- Experience in an enterprise environment and previous banking/financial industry experience are a plus.
Brief Description:
- Principal Engineer Lead, Network Operations: A successful candidate will provide 24x7 technical leadership and operational support for Huntington's Enterprise Network organization.
Detailed Description:
- Lead Major Incident Support efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and communication during critical network incidents, relying on his/her ability to pull together technical resources to gather accurate information to provide data-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues escalated from Tier-1 and Tier-2 support teams, conduct post-mortem/Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on major incidents to identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintains current knowledge of hardware, software, and network technology and recommends modifications as required.
- Engage with Platform Engineering teams to align network operations with platform development and enhancements.
- Create all required technical documentation by Huntington's Change Control and project management processes and procedures.
- Work with developers to create automation workflows that enhance network operations and efficiency.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide after-hours and on-call support as needed.
