Client Partnerships Manager USA

As we continue to expand across the US, we are seeking a Client Partnerships Manager to join our team and lead the charge in building, nurturing, and growing relationships with our clients.
This role is more than sales. It s about understanding client needs deeply, helping shape solutions that align with their goals, and being their trusted partner from initial engagement through long-term collaboration. You will work closely with our strategy, design, and engineering teams to ensure our clients ambitions are realized.
What You ll Do
- Build and grow trusted relationships with client executives and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
- Understand client challenges and opportunities, translating them into actionable proposals, roadmaps, and solutions with internal teams.
- Drive business development efforts in the US, cultivating new opportunities through outreach, referrals, and existing networks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery teams (design, engineering, project management) to ensure client goals are met on time and on budget.
- Develop account strategies to expand partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Lead proposals and pitches, working with subject-matter experts to create compelling presentations, RFP responses, and contracts.
- Track and report on pipeline health, client satisfaction, and revenue growth metrics.
- Be a culture carrier, representing Lateral s values in every client interaction and fostering long-term trust.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 2 weeks, you will:
- Build rapport with leadership and delivery teams.
- Understand Lateral s service offerings, culture, and active client portfolio.
- Begin connecting with existing client stakeholders.
Within 3 months, you will:
- Own relationships with at least 2 3 active client accounts.
- Drive measurable progress on at least one new business opportunity.
- Establish account plans and identify areas for growth within existing clients.
Within 6 12 months, you will:
- Be recognized as a trusted partner by clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to meaningful revenue growth in US accounts.
- Consistently deliver on client satisfaction, retention, and expansion targets.
- Influence the broader client engagement strategy, sharing insights on US market trends.
What We re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or business development, ideally in consulting, design, or technology services.
- Proven track record of building long-term client relationships and growing accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen: ability to negotiate contracts, scope engagements, and manage revenue targets.
- Excellent communication skills able to simplify complex solutions for executives and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a remote, distributed environment, with asynchronous collaboration.
- High emotional intelligence, humility, and a partnership-first mindset.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with a bias for action.
- A global perspective, with the ability to think beyond local markets and contribute to international growth strategies.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in consulting/professional services environments.
- A background in technology, digital products, or design.
- Existing networks in the US tech/startup ecosystem.
