Job Details
The Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with Product Management or Business Operations to develop user stories and maintain a product backlog that supports evolving business needs. This role also manages the intake and request process, working closely with the Product Owner/Manager to define, justify, and prioritize new product developments or projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Pharma OR medical device highly preferred (not required)
- 5 10 years of relevant experience required.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.
- Intermediate SQL skills preferred.
- Understanding of design thinking principles.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Serve as a liaison between end-users, product management, and development teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Develop and maintain prioritized product backlogs.
- Conduct interviews and discovery sessions with stakeholders and business owners.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
- Provide ongoing support during design, development, and QA testing by clarifying requirements.
- Assist stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring alignment with expectations.
