Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems & Cybersecurity Compliance Manager to lead and manage cybersecurity initiatives for our organization in the Toledo area, Ohio. This role is essential in ensuring the company's compliance with industry standards and safeguarding critical IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record in managing cybersecurity within manufacturing or government contractor environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, including NIST 800-171 and other related frameworks.
Manage and maintain IT systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools, to ensure robust security measures are in place.
Oversee the configuration and management of network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud environments such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Utilize Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud to configure dashboards, analyze security events, and monitor system performance.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies to address potential security risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mixed IT environments, including engineering systems, test labs, and production networks.
Ensure proper incident reporting and compliance with government data protection standards.
Manage and monitor security tools and platforms to identify and address potential threats in real-time.
Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5-8 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years specializing in cybersecurity or compliance within manufacturing or government contractor settings.
Proficiency in implementing and managing NIST Level 1 & 2 and NIST 800-171 controls.
Strong expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security tools.
Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Skilled in using Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud for security event analysis and dashboard configuration.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and system monitoring platforms.
In-depth understanding of government data protection standards, incident reporting, and compliance frameworks.
