About the role:

As a Senior Engineer for Risk Analysis, you will perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems, evaluating a plant's potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types like seismic, fire, and flooring.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Risk Analysis. This position is hybrid at the manager's discretion based in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area or Dallas, TX; however, US-based remote may be considered. No relocation provided. We can consider candidates able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems for potential vulnerability
  • Support domestic and international operating plants and new reactors in design phase
  • Lead global project teams contributing to technical scope execution in roles like author, mentor and verifier supporting meeting scheduling and financial goals
  • Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies
  • Develop product offerings and pursue target product markets
  • Support Innovation products from conception through marketing and delivery
  • Mentor engineers on PRA fundamentals

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' PRA Model development applied to nuclear plants
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Nuclear)
  • Knowledge of PWR reactor operations
  • Knowledge of:
    • Internal and External Hazards PRAs
    • Level 2 PRAs
    • Human Reliability Analysis (HRA)
    • Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)
  • PRA software like CAFTA and RiskSpectrum
