Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in land development and design. If you have a passion for innovation and a knack for problem-solving, we want you. You will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, driving the design and implementation of complex civil engineering projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and subdivision developments. You will be using cutting-edge tools and technology, such as Civil 3D, to bring designs to life. This is a permanent position requiring 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, from initial planning and feasibility studies to design and construction.
  • Develop detailed design plans for residential, commercial, and subdivision projects using Civil 3D and other advanced engineering software.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Apply engineering principles and techniques to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design and land development.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and other engineering design software.
  • Strong experience in residential, commercial, and subdivision projects.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in team-oriented environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal land use laws and regulations.
  • Strong commitment to professional and ethical standards.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
