Role: QA Engineer Hybrid (Bannockburn, IL)
Duration: 6-month CTH
Hybrid: 2 days onsite weekly

We are looking for a strong hands-on QA Engineer with a good balance of manual (60%) and automation (40%) testing experience. This role will support web and desktop/Windows applications and work closely with offshore QA teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform smoke, functional, integration, and regression testing
- Create and maintain automation test scripts
- Translate business and functional requirements into QA test cases
- Perform database testing using SQL
- Test APIs using Postman
- Coordinate testing activities with offshore teams
- Support after-hours deployments when needed (occasional)
Requirements:
- 8+ years of QA experience
- Strong hands-on manual testing experience
- Automation experience using Selenium, Automation Anywhere, UTP, or similar tools
- Experience testing web and desktop/Windows applications
- Good SQL skills for QA-level database validation
- API testing experience (Postman)
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in Agile/SDLC environments
