Job Details

Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Establish deep trust relationships with Nexus clients and team members
Develop deep trust relationships and potential opportunities with Nexus clients
Provide strategic direction for software development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals software development projects, ensuring high quality, scalability, and efficiency.
Establish and maintain best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, DevOps, code quality assurance, documentation standards, peer code reviews and security standards.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, integrating cutting-edge tools to optimize performance.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in leading people and software development teams
Expertise and wisdom in software development best practices, including architecture, coding, and deployment strategies.
Ability to communicate and present complex issues with clarity and simplicity
Solid understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies, system integrations, and modern development frameworks.
Exceptional leadership skills with track record of inspiringe and empowering people and teams
Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Beneficial Skills and Experience include
Experience in development tools and technology should include: Microsoft .NET, Web API, JavaScript (React, Node.js, etc.), Entity Framework, RESTful services, Microservices, SQL, Oracle
Strong proficiency and experience in Microsoft 365 Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
Experience developing architectures in multiple domains -- infrastructure, security, software, and key software components
Applicable knowledge of principles summarized in the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
