Job Details

Comtech has an urgent need of SAP PPS-SRM Functional Consultant-SME candidate for the long-term DOD program we are supporting. These positions are Remote. Candidates with prior or current Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Public Trust) will be preferred.

Title: SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) -SRM Functional Consultant

Location: Remote

** Must be able to clear a DoD clearance **

Role: Provides expert level business process guidance on DOD ERP-SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) requirements and design as well as SAP configuration and deployment expertise.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

  • 10 or more years of SAP experience
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more SAP functional area/module, specifically SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) and SAP SRM. 
  • Experience designing/configuring business processes in SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) and SAP SRM

Education: Bachelor s degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor s degree.

Preferred skills:

  • 5 or more years of SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) and SAP SRM experience
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP IM/WM modules (in a Tier 3 environment)
  • Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically ERP
  • Familiar with DoD IT architectures
  • Federal experience
  • Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix

Primary Job Duties:

  • Analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) and SAP SRM modules to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand processes
  • Implementing system enhancements
  • Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules
  • Providing leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel
