Job Description:
  • The SAP Manufacturing Consultant will be responsible for implementing SAP Best Practices for MBoM, Routing, and Shop Floor Execution.
  • The role involves conducting requirement gathering sessions, system demos, configuration, and integration across PLM and MES systems.
  • The consultant will support end-to-end manufacturing processes, documentation, and testing to ensure successful deployment within the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Work Stream requirement gathering sessions with business process owners.
  • Complete the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire.
  • Develop and present Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck) based on assessment findings.
  • Manage requirements, configuration, and related documentation.
  • Create and maintain Key Decision Documentation and Process Flows.
  • Define authorization and security settings for manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in test planning for standard and custom objects.
  • Support change management and reporting activities.
  • Ensure alignment with SAP Best Practices and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA in manufacturing and production planning modules.
  • Knowledge of SAP Best Practices for MBoM, Routing, and Shop Floor Execution.

  • Experience in configuration and management of:

    Classification, MRP, Scheduling, and Costing views of Material Masters.
  • Work Centers, Bills of Material (BoMs), and Routings, including Revision and ECM.
  • Production Order Lifecycle (Creation to Confirmation to Goods Receipt).
  • Collective Orders for MTS and MTO with WBS.
  • External Processing with Subcontracting.
  • Production Order Kitting and Goods Issue/Reversal (batch managed).
  • Rework and Production Order Splitting.
  • Availability Checking and Shortage Reporting.
  • Experience with integration to PLM and MES systems, including Parameter Effectivity.
  • Ability to author functional specifications.
  • S/4HANA experience is required.
  • Aerospace & Defense (A&D) experience preferred (offshore experience is a plus).
