Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst / Data Delivery Specialist with deep expertise in healthcare data, Azure cloud platforms, and modern data engineering ecosystems. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced SQL capabilities, and hands-on experience working with payer datasets and enterprise data platforms such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Snowflake.

You will play a key role in documentation, data validation, governance, and cross-functional delivery efforts across complex healthcare programs.
Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed Functional Specifications, Source-to-Target Mappings (STM), and other business/technical documentation.
  • Perform extensive data analysis and profiling using advanced SQL.
  • Validate payer data including claims, membership, provider, and clinical datasets.
  • Partner with engineering teams leveraging ADF, Databricks, and Snowflake for end-to-end data delivery.
  • Apply BSA expertise across ETL pipelines and data integration workflows.
  • Collaborate with data governance and business teams to research and resolve data quality issues.
  • Support estimation and scoping of analytics and integration projects.
  • Lead or participate in change management initiatives.
  • Resolve and balance competing business needs and requirements across multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with exceptional communication and documentation quality.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience & Skills
  • 8+ years in business/data analysis, project management, or process engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Databricks (Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog).
  • Advanced SQL proficiency with proven experience writing complex queries.
  • Knowledge of data governance, PII compliance, and data quality methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare (Medicaid / Medicare) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder leadership skills.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for major systems and business processes.
  • FACETS experience is required.
  • Experience with EDI transactions and/or Care Management data standards.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting data validation.
  • Understanding of data governance tools such as Collibra.
  • Exposure to standard deliverables including RTM, FMEA, and business process mapping.
