This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-visibility projects across commercial, industrial, and public sectors-while playing a hands-on role in design execution, cross-functional coordination, and project delivery.
This hybrid position is perfect for a mid-to-senior level engineer who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys mentoring junior team members, and excels at translating technical standards into real-world results.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll lead and contribute to full-lifecycle electrical design for diverse facility types, including civic infrastructure, manufacturing plants, office buildings, and institutional environments.
Take ownership of electrical systems design, from concept through construction administration, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and code compliance
Develop and review detailed drawings and specifications for power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm, grounding, and utility coordination
Oversee QA/QC processes for electrical deliverables, including shop drawing reviews and submittals
Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure fully integrated design solutions
Participate in client meetings, contribute to scope and fee proposals, and support RFI responses and field issue resolution during construction
Track schedules, manage technical resources, and ensure project milestones are met across concurrent engagements
What You Bring to the Team
10-12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, with a strong portfolio of building and infrastructure projects
Degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
EIT certification required; PE license strongly preferred
Proficient in industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite
Deep knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and local building codes
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven success collaborating across disciplines
Bonus: LEED accreditation, energy management experience, or value engineering (VE) expertise
Why Join Us?
Work on technically challenging, mission-critical projects that improve public infrastructure and advance sustainable design
Join a team that values mentorship, knowledge sharing, and design innovation
Access to a full suite of benefits, including generous PTO, parental leave, continuing education support, and a collaborative, growth-oriented culture
