Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Data Product Manager / IT Project Manager to lead the lifecycle of data-centric products and IT projects. This role combines product strategy, discovery, development, and project execution, ensuring solutions deliver business value while aligning with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, data-driven, and experienced in managing cross-functional teams.

Position Overview: The Data Product Manager is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of data-centric products, from discovery and ideation to development and delivery, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives. This role also incorporates project management responsibilities, overseeing IT initiatives from planning through execution while managing resources, timelines, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive strategy, vision, and roadmap for data products aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct user research, workshops, and prototyping to validate product concepts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to deliver features with high business impact.
  • Manage IT and data projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders; drive adoption and alignment.
  • Track KPIs, monitor performance, and prepare executive reports and dashboards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in data product management and IT project management, including end-to-end product lifecycle ownership.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data technologies, software development, ETL processes, CI/CD workflows, and data architecture considerations.
  • Expertise in product discovery, user research, prototyping, usability testing, and data visualization/reporting tools.
  • Skilled in budgeting, resource allocation, and project performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable product and project decisions.
