Job Title: Senior Genesys Cloud Developer (Certified)

Remote Contract (C2C/W2)

Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Time Zones Preferred)

Job Type: Contract C2C / W2

We are actively seeking a Senior Genesys Cloud Developer with 10+ years of experience in contact center technologies, specializing in Genesys Cloud IVR development and AWS integration. The ideal candidate is a certified Genesys Cloud professional with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing IVR solutions, AI-driven voice bots, and cloud contact center architectures. This role is fully remote and offers an opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Genesys Cloud IVR & Call Flow Development:

  • Design and build scalable IVR call flows using Genesys Cloud Architect.
  • Develop self-service solutions with DTMF, speech recognition, and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Configure and maintain Genesys Cloud Dialog Engine, IVR reporting, and routing strategies.
  • Integrate Amazon Lex for conversational AI experiences.

AWS & AI Integration:

  • Develop and deploy backend logic using AWS Lambda, integrating with DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Build and manage secure AWS architectures for IVR and bot applications.
  • Use Amazon Polly for dynamic voice responses and text-to-speech capabilities.

Optimization & Operations:

  • Conduct thorough IVR testing, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Analyze IVR analytics and automation success metrics to continuously enhance the customer journey.
  • Work closely with CRM, telephony, and third-party systems for end-to-end integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of overall experience in contact center solutions with a minimum of 3+ years in Genesys Cloud.
  • Genesys Cloud Certification is required (e.g., Genesys Cloud CX Certified Professional).
  • Deep expertise with Genesys Cloud Architect, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Lex.
  • Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java for Lambda and backend logic.
  • Strong command of REST APIs, JSON, and cloud-native design.
  • Solid understanding of contact center operations, call routing, and omnichannel communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Twilio, Cisco, or Five9 contact center platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI, or other regulatory compliance in IVR systems.
