ISO, a Verisk business, is looking to advance a high-powered product suite into the future. This product suite is focused on the P&C insurance market with a heavy focus on ISO s core insurance products, data analytics driven through large-scale data assets, and associated internal and external facing technology infrastructure. We are embarking on a multi-year journey to modernize the product suite, architecture, and associated technology/infrastructure.
This individual will serve as a critical team member responsible for gathering and documenting critical digital product requirements and translating into user stories. The successful candidate will collaborate with the digital product team, technology and business stakeholders to deliver product enhancements that produce customer value. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining and health product backlog to ensure continuous improvement and delivery of incremental customer value on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with Sitecore and Jira - understanding of product development process and agile software development
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business functions and Technology
- Demonstrated experience in developing epics, user stories and product backlogs
- Experience with prioritizing product features/enhancements based on customer value
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Appreciation for nuance of customer/ user experience; ability to think through how to utilize feedback and other data
- Serves as an advocate for the customer and pursues products/services that promote ease of doing business and delivery of information that enables improved decision making
Key Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, and prioritizing a product backlog by writing user stories that include clear acceptance and testing criteria
- Defining, measuring, and monitoring product success after releases
- Identifying and analyzing opportunities to improve our products by learning from, and working with, our customers and business stakeholders
- Documenting user stories and working with development teams to deliver product enhancements
- Active participation in various agile ceremonies
- Serving as critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology team
