🧩 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cerner CCL Analyst to design, develop, maintain, and optimize reports and extracts using Cerner Command Language (CCL). The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver accurate data solutions supporting healthcare workflows, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain CCL reports, scripts, and data extracts

• Analyze business and clinical requirements to translate them into technical CCL solutions

• Create custom reports for clinical, financial, operational, and regulatory needs

• Optimize CCL programs for performance, accuracy, and scalability

• Perform data validation, unit testing, and troubleshooting of CCL programs

• Support Cerner Millennium modules (PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, PathNet, PharmNet, etc.)

• Collaborate with clinicians, analysts, and IT teams to resolve data and reporting issues

• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to Cerner best practices

• Support interfaces, data feeds, and downstream systems as needed

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security standards

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)

• Solid understanding of Cerner Millennium data model

• Experience creating complex joins, record structures, and stored logic in CCL

• Knowledge of healthcare data domains: clinical, ADT, orders, results, billing

• Experience with Discern Rules / Discern Expert (preferred)

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases

• Experience working in hospital or healthcare IT environments

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
