Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong background in the BFSI domain to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology and digital transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving core banking platforms, financial APIs, security, compliance, data engineering, and customer-facing fintech applications.
You will work closely with engineering, product, business, and compliance teams to drive programs from planning to launch, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead end-to-end program delivery across multiple workstreams in the BFSI domain (lending, payments, fraud, digital onboarding, etc.)

Own project planning, roadmap alignment, stakeholder communication, risk management, and reporting

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical requirements and delivery milestones

Drive RFP processes, vendor selection, and partner integrations as needed

Track dependencies, remove roadblocks, and ensure teams are aligned with strategic goals

Ensure programs adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GLBA, PCI, FFIEC)

Lead Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming) and promote continuous delivery best practices

Develop executive-level dashboards and KPIs for project performance and financial tracking

8 12 years of total experience with at least 5+ years as a Technical Program Manager

Strong experience in BFSI or fintech domains (banking, cards, lending, fraud, core systems, AML/KYC, etc.)

Proven success in managing large-scale programs (>$5M, multi-team, multi-region)

Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with engineering, DevOps, security, QA, and compliance

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure), APIs, and modern architecture patterns

Strong command of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Jira/Confluence/Smartsheet

Excellent communication, executive reporting, and stakeholder management skills

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications a plus

Prior experience working in core banking transformations or digital onboarding platforms

Experience working with third-party vendors, system integrators, or offshore development teams

Hands-on understanding of data compliance, fraud detection, or cybersecurity programs

This is an onsite role based in Mountain View, CA, with potential client-facing meetings

Work closely with executive leadership, engineers, and product owners

Fast-paced, enterprise-scale program environment in financial services or fintech
