Salesforce Project Manager
Introduction: The Salesforce Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of Salesforce implementation projects across Jax Consulting’s core industries, including education, nonprofit, and consumer goods. This client-facing role involves managing budgets, scope, timelines, risks, and resources — ensuring every project achieves measurable business outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and Account Executives to guide projects from discovery through deployment, maintaining alignment between business goals and technical execution. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and leader who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Salesforce implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Define and control project scope, tracking changes and maintaining alignment with client priorities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and document clear business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions.
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, providing proactive updates and escalation management.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term relationship growth in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Maintain expertise in Salesforce products such as Education Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Contribute to process improvement, internal delivery standards, and mentorship across the consulting team.
Requirements:
- Proven success managing Salesforce implementation projects from initiation through deployment.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting or project management roles is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scope management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience facilitating discovery sessions and translating business needs into functional requirements.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Education Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, or Data Cloud is a plus.
- Salesforce certification (Admin or Cloud preferred).
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
